Sennheiser from Headroom

Anyone ordered HD595 or HD600 in the last 2~3 weeks ? What's the waiting time ? I keep getting different dates everyweek.

It came in fine, shipped in a day with fedex. I think that their waiting time (with the exception of the AKG K701) seems to be more of a cover their butt number. Just the same, if you want one I'd wait until it says that they're in stock.

B&H, J&R and some other places have it in stock but I don't understand why Headroom can't get them sooner. Headroom price is the best price in the market and I don't want to cancel my order but waiting 3~4 weeks is too long.

The easiest way to find out is to call Headroom and ask if they have them in stock.

I should be clear little bit. I've ordered HD595 from Headroom on the 2nd and being told they will get them on the 7th and will ship, they did not. The date changed to 14th and guess what they did not get it and now they are saying probably next week, not sure.

I've asked them about HD600 and it will be also next week, so I've changed my order to HD600 and waiting.

I actually live right next to headroom HQ. I noticed they had a 4 week wait on the Grado 325's so I went in to find out specifics. They said they would be in at the end of this week or the very latest beginning of next. I understand that didn't answer your question, but it seems like the 4 week wait time is just to cover themselves.

Lucky fellow, living next to Headroom HQ. What's it like? I've always been curious as to how such a company would run themselves.

I received my HD600's from www.jr.com in a weeks time. And they matched Headrooms price.

I just could not wait anymore, so I've ordered from J&R also and with 2nd day shipping, it will come on Tuesday. They have matched Headroom price.

So, you ordered the HD595's right? Headroom has them for cheaper than J&R, so I'm just guessing that must be it if you had to price match (Can't be HD600 because J&R actually sells them for less than Headroom at $249).

A little OT: While on the subject of price-matching, does Headroom price match (I couldn't find it anywhere on their website)?

I've ordered HD600.

If you email for pricequote, Headroom price for 600 is $230. J&R matched that price. Headroom HD595 price is $199.
J&R price for 595 is $190.
