I recently bought a pair of these, got em yesterday. They sound great, but I've noticed while trying to burn em in, that sometimes in higher voices it crackles or pops. It isn't much, but is there something wrong with the phones? I havn't used them above 1/4th of my comp's volume, which in these things is really loud to my ears. Yet other people who have used them said they couldn't hear anything... But besides that, I'm worried. I just shelled out 80$ for these, are they damaged or is this a normal part of the burn-in? Also, at times, they sound a bit hollow. Once again, is this normal?
By the way, "sometimes" is more often then not "Rarely".
Bass on these things is amazing too.

And, to lighten the mood, a joke.
A friend of mine plays the bass, and I called it a bass (As in the fish) by accident once. She just stared at me and coldly told me "I play an instrument, not a fish." Still makes me laugh.

I would try them with another source...mp3 player, portable cd player etc...to eliminate the source as the problem. If you still here the distortion return them for a replacement if you can.
