I am moving from the stock Sony MH-750 headset (which got issues with the button but had satisfactory sound), and I found that

MH-EX300AP does not have enough bass, noise cancellation and loudness for my taste while listening to mostly electronic music.​

 

I'm now wondering if​

Sennheiser CX 2.00g and 5.00g will make a difference, and actually how much will the difference between these two will be since the latter costs almost twice as much. 2.00g is said to lack on the bass side, while 5.00g is more protruding and won't be as comfortable to use with winter headgear or, say, on sofa cushions.
 
Anyone tried to compare those two headsets between each other, and maybe with the good stock Sony headsets? Thanks!
