Sennheiser, AKG, Beyerdynamic, Audio-technica, Grado???

fantastic grado can. For you type of music you will highly enjoy the sound. Now the comfort is a mixed bag for people...i find them to be uncomfortable after a few hours of use.

In my opinion the 225s were not enough of an upgrade from my sr60s to warrant the upgrade although I still did enjoy them for a few months and they were great to me - i want to try the 325i a lot though.

If you want soundstage do not go for the DT770 's they have a very upfront sound. The bass is deep and both the highs and bass are clear. The mids are somewhat recessed.
