Sennheiser 580's Discontinued

...or so says Sennheiser's website, but that internet book store still has them for $125 new, with free shipping.

These cans were the first headphones ever to make Stereophile's recommended components list, a list they have remained on since they were initially reviewed in '94.

Yeah, it's because they are discontinued that we have the big price drop from Amazon. I have no problem with buying good quality discontinued cheap cans.

The 580s use to be Sennhesier flag ship headphone....now you can get them for 125$, thats a STEAL.

Commonly known as the best bang for buck in the full size can world..

New stock or old stock, they are still 580's for $125 with free shipping.

Not a bad deal for the remaining 20 or so they have in stock.

The HD580s have been discontinued about as long as the Sony V6s. Which are still available new at your local Frys how many years later?
