I am looking at Sennheiser 560s headphones (wanting some wired); have Sennheiser RS 180 and 185 and like the sound. Mainly used with my Creek headphone amp. However there are times when I will only have my Dell 3505 laptop or even just my Galaxy phone/tablet.

Would I still be able to get reasonable volume in those circumstances?

Any advice please?

Perhaps that depends a little too much on the exact specifications of the HP out of your devices and the volume you tend to listen at.
Personally I don't have any problem to reach a decent volume output for me on a 2014 retina MacBook Pro.
