I suppose it's just a matter of luck as to whether or not you can find a set of 595's.

As it happens all the retailers I've spoken to are specialist high street hi-fi shops. I guess the Web isn't always the best route to use when you need to find what your after.

Well, you know the Sennheiser factory in Ireland burnt down in May.

The ceo of that division said they would be up and running in no time again though.

In fact a retailer told me they could ship the 595s somewhere in the middle of this month, after they confirmed the rumor of the fire true.

Unfortunately I got that reply a month ago when I asked where the hell they went with the thing, because I was already waiting ages for them to be delivered. Had I not believed the rumors I had still been waiting.

But in the end I found a company that had them in stock and for a lower price to boot - yay.
