Hi Todd....

Torn between HE-60's and saving for HE-90's, got either???? If so, which and if more than one pair, what's the details of either/any???

Cheers, Larry

btw, that's an awesome price you have on K-1000's, I thought they'd be going up like a rocket with the end of the year discontinuation rumours. Might be smart to buy a pair and stash them sealed, hmmm....

Hi Xanadu777,

I have 2 pair of the HE90 headphones. One a demo pair used by Sennheiser that could use new earpads but are in perfect working order for $4900 and a new pair - the box has been opened but they have not been played. Those are $6350.

I do not know about the discontinued K1000 rumor but I have a few in stock and thought maybe there would be a good home for them with some lucky Head-Fiers.

Hi Todd,

Quick question here, Will AKG still make the headbands , drivers etc. for the K1000 in case spares are needed at a later time, The headband on the K1000 unlike the other headphones uses rubber for the adjistable movement, which IMO will not stand the test of time, Also if not then how much does a headband cost shipped to australia for the K1000, there is no harm in stocking one just in case you know.

BTW, excellent deal on the K1K's. Head-Fiers deserve to own every single last one produced before the production line shuts down (hopefully not).
I can't imagine why AKG would want to stop making them. They are already upto about 11,000 if I am not wrong. Mine is 10828 so I am sure there will be 11,000 up by now.

Hey, maybe if the K1000 is discontinued they will bring out a new top tier headphone that doesn't look like an alien artifact?
