I'm using my Sennheiser HD590s with my PPAv2 and I love the sound. ONe thing I'm noticing though, is that occasionally I get a buzzing sound out of the right earphone and the only way to get it to go away is to either power downt he amplifier altogether or unplug the headphones (which isn't a good idea when the PPA is on when using TRS jacks). At first I thought that this had something to do with my PPA because I had some difficulty with assembly - so I switched the left and right channel outputs on the jack - so that the right channel output would go to the left earphone, and the left channel output would go to the right ear phone and tried the headphones again. The occasional buzzing sound still came back in the same right earphone. The only conclusion I can draw from this is that there must be something wrong with the driver in the right earphone. I cannot recreate this problem with any other pair of headphones I have access to (Sennheiser MX400s, old Sony MDR480s, Porta Pro2s, another old pair of Sennheisers - can't remember which model).

Does anyone have any thoughts / suggestions about this? It's really quite annoying. Furthermore, does anyone have any experience ordering replacement drivers from Sennheiser?

Thanks
Clutz

*scratching head* When does this buzzing sound occur, i.e. is it also there with no music playing? Have you done the routine check for hairs stuck near the driver?
