Well, I am really trying to avoid cutting the cord, I'd like to find a 5ft cord mini to mini that i can buy elsewhere that will fit. Anyone know of any that will fit into the can?

The connector that goes into the headphones is a non-standard size, I haven't been able to find it anywhere on the internet. Either contact Sennheiser or cut it off and re terminate it, it's not that hard.

If you don't have a soldering iron (the only meaning I could infer from your post) then I'd strongly suggest investing in one, it'll come in handy in this hobby. Plus, a cheap soldering iron should be cheaper than buying a new cable from Senn.
