Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum and I need some help to get a good pair of headphones.
My budget is around 100-120€.
I need portable closed headphones since i'm 4/5 days a week away from home and I share a house with other people.
I know I should go out and find a shop to try them, but there are no shops like this where I live.
So, after some days of research I ended up with:

Sennheiser HD380 PRO
Audio Technica ATH m40x
(I read they are flatter than m50x)

my gear is actually composed of:

Scarlet 2i2 audio interface;
KRK Rokit 5 g3;
AKG k701.

I also took a look at MDR7506HD280 pro,  but they said hd380 and athm40x sounds better than these.

Thanks for your time!

Thanks man. Really appreciate it.
What about hd280 and share 840?
I've had the 280 Pros for quite some time before I found out about Head-Fi and thought they were fine. Now I find them very uncomfortable the clamp force is fairly strong and the inner part touches my ears. They are fairly neutral with a bit of bass but I won't use them anymore. The wife uses them now and then to listen to videos online. I use to do a bit of recording but gave it up as other things piqued my interest more . I don't have a huge head but they clamp more than I would like for more the a hour and that would be with some rests in between. Just my thoughts.

Thanks. So I think I'm going to buy m40x and I'll change pads. I read shure840 are a bit more neutral, but I checked frequency response and they don't seem so.
Thanks for your help guys.
Do you think I'll need a small DAC amp to use them with my laptop?

I don't think the 40's need a amp but I like headroom myself. Give it a listen first you can always add one later if you think you need it.

I'll do some tests with my 2i2. It should have enough power to drive them.
I had a Emu 0404 USB and it powered the 280's just fine.
