short anwser: you don't want the 600 ohm 25-13's, you want the 70 ohm 25-1's
long anwser: the 600 figure is the impendance of the headphones. this means that these headphones need a lot more volts to get sound from them.
for you, they'll probably be worthless, unless you've got a beefy headphone amp that can supply the necessary voltage swing to drive these headphones. the 25-13 model is meant for studios, where a high impendance is necessary for connecting multiple headphones to a single amp.
the 25-1 is the 70 ohm version, which doesn't need many volts at all. these will run very easily from any mp3 player, or indeed any headphone output. as far as the sound quality goes, there might be differences but i've never seen any report of the 600 ohm version.
the best part of the 25-13 professional studio headphones is the cable, which when shortened and fit with a 3.5mm plug is great for the 'consumer' 25-1 version (which by default sports an inferior steel cable)
