I went thru this last year and the only source I found was http://www.thomann.de/gb/index.html where I got mine. Be aware there is a $50 min. purchase for export, and shipping is $30. .............I forget the stock number (there'd be much laborious searching to find it) - but you need to refer to HD25 -13. Don't know why, but Sennheiser gets repeated requests for this cable , but they don't stock it. Further - I sent mine to MoonAudio and had Drew cut it to 1.5M and install Neutrik plug.

the relative conductivity at 100 kHz for copper is 1.0 S while it is only 0.1 S for steel. I'd predict similar results at audible frequencies.

The steel cable is just bad. I'm not sure what they have done about it, but anyone could pinpoint the audible diferences between the OFC and steel cable easily. It's not one of those audiophile brand upgrade cables which improves anything so subtle that some hear it while some don't hear the difference (i.e. either placebo or a very marginal upgrade)
