My HD-600's are buzzing in the right channel, on low bass notes. I'd like to open the right side to check whether it's merely some dirt to remove, or if the diaphragm is shot. Can anyone explain how to disassemble the unit without leaving marks or damage?

Thanks!

Headphile has a pretty nice guide, with pictures. Now if only I could figure out how to remove the top headband I'd be happier.

EDIT: Someone else on this thread did manage to dismantle a HD600 and HD650 and switched the drivers, but I don't remember who. I wouldn't recommend this however, as it must take a certain degree of skill, or a certain degree of insanity (or perhaps both) to completely dismantle a $200+ headphone...

Thanks for the info Naris. I disassembled the right side, and found some grit near the opening for the diaphragm, which I removed quite easily. They don't buzz anymore!
