My modded srh940  (modded because I've increased depth of ear cups).
The hd25 have nice bass thump, but after enough  listening you realize it's a bit monotonic.
And the comfort of hd25 , is meh
You might not choose only between the hd25 & srh940, the only thing I  can say if you are looking for best sound quality I'll avoid the hd25.Unless if a little bass thump is enough to make you happy.
Some will say they are better alternative than srh940, especially regarding the bass, but I'm satisfied with their bass, especially since I've modded them.
However the built quality of srh940 is a  bit disappointing..
