Senn Balanced cable 1/4 inch adapter question.

I called a local cable manufacturing company to make a balanced to 1/4 adapter and they need to know which pin is positive, negative, and ground. Can anybody help with this?

tip is left. ring is right. barrel is ground

What about the pins on the balanced connections. Which is what?

On an XLR connector Pin 1 is Ground, Pin 2 is '+' or Hot, Pin 3 is "-" or Cold (Return).
