Sorry for the pic quality. Taken with a web cam and light from my monitor and cell phone camera light. One thousand appologies.

I consider these to be exceptionally designed. Padded with leather and perfectly arced, it spreads the weight out just as if they were resting on your head. This is opposed to a banana hanger type system where the phones hang on one small point. And since it's a clip on attachment there are infinite possibilities as to where you can hang the thing.

Hopefully sennheiser makes these available for order separate from their headphones. I don't see it on the site just yet.

Yeah that was just a weird reflection from my light source. Not sure how black fabric reflects purple

....looks kinda cool though.

I know, I couldn't wait - I just got the box! I ordered direct from Senn (wanted to order from Todd, but I still dunno if he has them). I am about to go on a couple of long trips, long nights in a hotel room and I will go crazy without my music!

Matt from Sennheiser is such a good guy - took care of this order pronto, and he is also rooting for the Jets this season!

Opening the box now...

I hope you enjoy them! I was having great moments 10 minutes ago listening to Neil Young - Harvest , with them.

And i agree, the hanger is pretty and very useful!

Thanks a LOT for making the unbearable wait even worse

Yep, have been waiting for mine 595's for 3months now. Estimated time of arrival is week after the next week, so it is like 2 weeks more and I hopefully will get to hear those 595's in action

The wait is almost unbearable AND you are indeed making it worse, heh. But I'd like to see more pictures of 595's even so

Were the pics taken with a digital camera? If so, it could be a colour balance mismatch.

Damn, now I'm getting the itch for these 595s. My wallet hates you!

My HD 555s do the same to me. The sonic detail is simply incredible -- I'm discovering new things in familiar songs. Every friend who's auditioned it broke out into a big grin for the same reason. The soundstage is quite good, though not as expansive as my Philips HP890s are -- not a bad thing, just different.

My iRiver doesn't drive them that well, even though they still sound very good. Plug them into a better source, however, and brace yourself. You'll be blown away. Do I sound happy? :-)

I know - you are right - I must now get a super mini or save my pennies for a SR-71 to make the most of a great thing!
