I have the Aiva, they're fine. I'm very curious where the 300 percent price increase is coming from between these and those. They look to be the same materials. I know that's not how headphone pricing works but it's still a big increase.

I have had demo the Peacock for about a week or two now. They are stunning for the price. I would say it is about 2-3 levels above Aiva which I love but was "stolen" by my bro.

88mm huge plannar driver makes some enjoyable dynamic sound. The texture and speed are also surprisingly good.

Any specific comparisons to other company’s planars?

Why are they “surprisingly good?”

+1 ^. Curious how they stack up to the likes of the LCD-3, HE-1000V2, Arya, etc.

I have compared to D8000Pro, Susvara, 1266, these 3 I think are still a league above Peacock. Peacock is right there with HE6 (driven by Headtrip ii) and LSA-HP1 but Peacock has a slightly more "musical" or appealing tuning where the other two are more "reference".

I view these three similarly, I think all 3 can easily beat some other headphones that are $500-1000 more expensive than them. They are on the sweet spot in terms of p/p ratio.
