I have been considering really hard on selling almost all my headphones to fund a LCD-2. Ever since I got my Thunderpants, I fell in love with the orthodynamic sound signature. Now I want to get the best possible open orthodynamic with wood on its housing and the Audeze LCD-2 meets those exact criteria. I will basically try and sell everything I have EXCEPT my Woodied Grado SR80i and my Thunderpants. Those are keepers for sure. Everything else will go including my FiiO amps to fund for a Schiit Asgard to power my orthos. Problem is, I have a feeling I might regret it later on. I honestly love my collection because they all have different sound signatures that I enjoy, and it gives me a good variety of signatures to listen to. I'll only be left with 3 more similar sounding headphones if I go through with this, and I might miss my variety of sound signatures. The only way I won't regret it is if the LCD-2 are "perfect" for me, and they basically cure my "upgraditis" so I'll never think of any other headphones ever again. I know this is for me to decide, but I would like some feedback, would you guys do such a thing in a similar situation? Thanks for any feedback!
