Is a heavy IEM okay ? The turbines extend very low and they are bassy coming straight from my iPod Touch 4.

For me Rev.1 is better and more fun w/ very good body in bass. Rev.2 is somewhat more technical/neutral than Rev.1.

oh.... I found that Eterna seems designed to wear it upside down and place the cord behind ears. I wear glasses and it may be a problem to me...

I wear all my IEMs upside down and I never take my glasses off, you should be fine

It's too bad that you don't want a recommendation for the Shure SE215, as I think you would really like it. I admit the size and design is a bit cumbersome but that trade off is well worth it given the isolation and sound.

Maybe get it first and return them if the fit really is an issue?
