It seems like I listen to alot of different genres of music but appears to be alot more like Electronic / Heavy Bass, I would be using this primarily with my galaxy s3 on PT (public transport) and walking around, but also playing rhythm games on playstation vita

I'm not sure how much IEMs would cost for my needs but I would presume somewhere in the realm of $100-$300

I've been recommended all sorts of IEMs from different sources but they all seem to be inconsistent.

IEMs I've been reccommended so far:

Jays a-Jays Five
Audiofly AF78
Brainwavz: M3
Denon Urban Raver AH-C300
Shure SE315
Sennheiser IE 80

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

Cheers

I have not heard the new Fidelio S1/2's myself, however I've been hearing a lot about their value at that price point. That may be something for you to consider.  The IE80 would more than likely be the IEM that you'd prefer in that list based on what I've read, if you can find a decent price for a pair.  Brand new on amazon for 340 right now, but that might be over your budget a smidge.

I've had a very strong recommendation for the IE 80s from a friend but I wanted to consult online before just taking his word on buying what I consider fairly pricey IEMs, It looks like I can get free shipping and only AU$309 from here: http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/astore/Sennheiser-IE80-In-Ear-Headphones.aspx?afid=17#

This site seems legit, but is it possible to get bootleg IEMs?
