I have been a dedicated audiophile for many years and had a a listening room with a fairly high end high efficiency single driver and low power SET and Laufer Teknik Memory player. I recently relocated due to a job change and now live in an apartment I am used to very resolute sound and an accurate sound-stage that was highly immersive.
I would like to build and equally if not better headphone set-up.
Looking for suggestions for headphones, amp and source.
For source I am thinking of getting streamer like Allo DigiOne Signature but looking for other suggestions.
Assume a budget of 3K-6K for the whole set-up.
Thank you,
Shokyy

One caveat: what are noise level's like in the OP's building. If the apartment has thin walls and/or is in a noisy neighborhood, that can be an issue with really open headphones like the HD800.

Thank you for the suggestion and the concern. The apartment building is not noisy.
Any suggestions fir the amps and DAC would be welcomed.
Just read the review on the RAAL ribbon drivers, anyone here own them or heard them?
