How come I can't sort by dates when I search in "Search this Forum"??
 
For instance, when i search for SR71 at the amplification FT/FS forum, there are 428 threads in total!
 
it is rather impossible for me to read the entire thread without the "sort by date" function!

You can not sort the search results.
But you can set up filters before performing the search though, getting the results as you want them.

Try using the Advanced Search.

but i still find it is very inconvenient that i can't sort those results after i click "search"
