I am new to the forum and would like to ask your help looking for an alternative to the Sennheiser MX985. Since they were discontinued, I can already find them and I have read that they are one of the best earbuds ever made.
I have the Fiio EM5 but I have not liked it very much since I feel that the bass covers the other frequencies and puts them in the background.
I currently use Sennheiser MX365 / 375 that I like for having a strong presence in the existing mids, lows and highs but not overwhelming.
In general, I am looking for HiFi earbuds that weigh the necessary but not anemic bass and not so extended highs that they become hiss. In general advanced means, micro detail and good instrumental separation.
I listen to more than all 80s Rock / Metal
