Hey everyone,

The right cable on my (out of warranty) Shure SE530s recently began to crack, and I'm planning on recabling them. I have experience soldering and I'm confident I can do the work, but what I really need help with is figuring out what cable to use as the replacement.

Could somebody please give me a recommendation on a) what sort of cable to use and b) where to purchase it?

My understanding is that, due to the cable insulation cracking debacle Shure had, even if your SE530's are out of warranty, they'll likely still replace them for you. If I were you I'd call up Shure support and ask if they can help you out.
