School radio stations

i am just curious how good your school radio is ....at my school there is one radio station, and it is pretty good...no comercial stuff...they even play noise, soundtracks and surf rock plus jazz and rock.....not too bad....

here is kfjc net broadcast...have a listen

The best radio station that I ever listened to was progressive rock run at the local university, KTUH FM back in the seventies. Was introduced to Jazz and specifically some great acts / bands. I remember hearing Cause We've Ended as Lovers, Jeff Beck for the first time. All of the DJs were students and were awsome. Some programs searched the past of the different stars and was a great way to learn the origins of the bands. It's really not the same the way music is exposed nowadays. But then again, since you are starting this thread maybe it is!
