Schiit Valhalla2 connected to an Asgard with RCA and Bifrost Multibit

I chained a Valhalla2 straight tube amp into a solid state Asgard.
I listen thru the asgard solid state.
I have a bifrost multiunit connect to the Valhalla2.
Any downsides to chaining a pure tube amp to a pure solid state.
I wanted to get get a good mix of solid and tube and I all ready purchased the Valhalla2 a couple of years ago.

I'd rather stick a tube buffer than a tube amp between Asgard and DAC, but that's just me. An example would be iFi iTube 2.

You're pouring a higher than line out voltage into the Asgard that way.
 
What you're looking for is basically a Lyr. Sell the two amps and get that.
