Does anyone have experience with both or can offer an opinion? Using with PS Audio DirectStream and HIfiman HE-1000's, or Audeze LCD-4 as I may sell the HE-1000's.

A few people have said the Ragnarok is more transparent & has better resolution, though not by much. Maybe a bit more powerful as well.

Thanks a lot. I think at this level it would be splitting hairs. I only need a headphone amp and not a preamp plus headphone amp.

I was gonna ask the same question.  I have a Taurus, and like it very much, but just got the Gungnir multi-bit, and am already impressed.  Wondering which amp would do better fed from a pc, as well as the ocassional analog source.  Headphones are Nighthawks, Alpha Prime, JVC 1000s.....
 
Thanks for any thoughts.  Might use the speaker hookups as well, so the Rag would have that gping for it.

Look at the Violectric V281. I see some people on the forum have switched from the Taurus to the V281. Can't run speakers off it though.
