I just watched a Netflix show with new episodes of Somebody Feed Phil based in Austin Texas, the bar-b-cue looked incredible with choices well above the pig parts @bcowen might know.🤪 Episode 3 of season 6.😎
Love that show! Highly recommended :relaxed:

While I'm waiting for my Unison USB board for my 2013-vintage Bifrost (the first run of black Schiit), I'll throw in a few soundtracks I haven't seen mentioned.

The Magnificent Seven - Elmer Bernstein
The Incredibles - Michael Giacchino
A Map of the World - Pat Metheny
West Side Story - Leonard Bernstein
That Thing You Do
Wicked
- Stephen Schwartz

Related to the topic... I listened to music to help me grieve when my mom passed away at 94 a couple of years ago. My wife was startled when I began playing the Wicked soundtrack because it begins with "No One Mourns the Wicked". But she quickly realized that I was playing it for the wonderful song near the end with the beautiful lyrics, "Because I knew you, I have been changed for good."

Music has the power to heal.

And for @Bonehead7171, there is so much music out there, it's not difficult to find something off the beaten path. I've been enjoying the latest release from The Beths: Expert in a Dying Field. I'm clueless when it comes to genres, but "power pop with a jazz aesthetic" seems to be a reasonable description.
I thought it might be a fun exercise to share some lessor known albums that people love, but....I guess not! HAHA! Thanks for taking up the invitation! I have also been listening to The Beths new album. They are a great new addition to my musical world.

California Guitar Trio
Lettuce
Levin, Minneman, Rudess
Matthew Stevens
Strawbs
Ofelia Dorme
Fremmand
Sparks
Mostly Other People Do the Killing

George of the Jungle

George, George
George of the Jungle
Strong as he can be
Ahh ahh ahhh
Watch out for that tree!

George, George
George of the Jungle
Lives a life that’s free
Ahh ahh ahhh
Watch out for that tree!

When he gets in a scrape
He makes his escape
With the help of his friend
An ape named Ape
Then away he’ll schlep
With his elephant Schep
While Fella and Ursula stay in step

With…
George, George
George of the Jungle
Friend to you and me
Ahh ahh ahhh
Watch out for that tree!

Watch out for that
Ahhh ahhh ahhh
Oooh! Tree!
George, George
George of the Jungle
Friend to you and me

Super Chicken

When you find yourself in danger
When you’re threatened by a stranger
When it looks like you will take a lickin’
Buck- buck- buck- buck
There is someone waiting
Who will hurry up and rescue you
Just c-a-a-a-a-l for Super Chicken
Buck-ah!

Fred, if you’re afraid you’ll just have to overlook it
Besides, you knew the job was dang-rous when you took it
Buck-ah!
He will drink his Super Sauce
And throw the bad guys for a loss
And he will bring them in alive and kickin’
Buck- buck- buck- buck

There is one thing you should learn
When there is no one else to turn to
Ca-a-a-a-l for Super Chicken
Buck- buck- buck- buck
Ca-a-a-a-l for Super Chicken
Buck-ah!

Tom Slick

Tom Slick, Tom Slick
Let-
Me tell you why
He’s-
The best of all the guys
Tom Slick, Tom Slick
In the Thunderbolt Grease Slapper
Once he’s on your tail
He won’t fail
Because you know there’s no such word a fail to
Tom Slick, Tom Slick

Never heard of 'em...!

Hey all,

A quick announcement: the death of tubes has been greatly exaggerated!

6SN7 tubes are back for Freya+, specifically Tung-Sol 6SN7GTB. LISST are available too.

More tomorrow. Not on tubes.

All the best,
Jason

Even though they're not so much into the new stuff, your post gave @Paladin79 and @bcowen a warm feeling. Truth be told, me too. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Speaking of tubes, I happened on this ModWright device a couple days ago, it adds tube sound to most any amp or preamp.

Below are features of the Analog Bridge:
It has a tube rectified and SS regulated power supply.
Two pairs of RCA inputs for two sources, two pairs of RCA outs.
We offer an optional add-cost fully balanced option that includes one pair of fully balanced XLR inputs and outputs.
Tube complement: (2)6922, (2)6SN7, (1)5AR4/GZ34

Frequency: 20Hz(-.5dB) - 200Khz(-1.5dB)
THD: < .005%
Noise: < -105dB (unweighted)

I do not need one since I have tube amps and pre-amps but I thought it interesting nonetheless. They used to add a tube stage inside an OPPO DAC but they no longer make those. It allows you to choose between 6sn7's and 6922's with the flip of a switch.
