RE: Roon ROCK and backup.

I run ROCK on a NUC8-i5. 256gb SSD for OS and database. 2tb nvme drive for internal storage. The internal storage folder is mapped to my Windows Server 2019 as a network drive. I use RealTimeSync for windows on the server to sync this folder to another windows drive that actually resides in my Synology NAS (RAID6) via an iSCSI LUN. The synced windows folder with all my media then backs up to CrashPlan automatically.

So whenever I copy music to the internal ROCK drive, it automatically backs up to my RAID6 NAS and to CrashPlan. The ROCK database automatically backs itself up to a different folder on the synology. No issues so far over the last several months.

Does CrashPlan have command line interfaces or do you have to use a UI? My server runs a Proxmox ZFS array where the main share is OpenMediaVault and I plan to use Sanoid/Syncoid to backup to a headless Ubuntu server computer, but still need a backup for that.

So my friends. After a long time of mourning a little lady came by and decided to stay and live with me.
Say hello to missus Fok-Yu.

She is still a little nervous so a good picture is difficult.

Bella says "hello" to Fok-Yu from under the furniture cover

Our cats have declared cables of all sorts as "the enemy"

Spell check always "Americanizes" behaviour, centre, colour, favourite... I tell students both US and UK grammar are ok in Canada 🇨🇦, but it seems more and more US grammar is winning the fight.

My brother and I were talking about that yesterday: we both hope the various countries of the world hold on to their languages during the rush to globalization.

From my phone with autocorrect off.

Finnegan seems like quite the "helper".

I presume the TV Detector Van goes around apprehending people who haven't paid their BBC license fee?
The Looney Detector Van, you mean.

I don’t know the answer to that. Sorry. I’ve always used a GUI under Windows or MacOS.

must be the bright colors he is attracted to. cats have red and blue color sensors in their eyes, but not the green ones like hoomans do. try making your next replacement set of cables with green jacketing, and they will look like greyed out background to him. or rub some lemon juice on the cables.

Crashplan does not have a CLI. There is a limited command line inside the GUI (so no scripting).

That was certainly a well thought out response, more often than not Finnegan will chase anything that moves lol. That was an old cable with which I was teasing him; many of my cables are blue and orange. University of Illinois and Chicago Bears colors; he respects those colors if the cable is not moving.
