I would have a very, very hard time resisting buying an amp that went to 11. Even if that amp fit no real hole in my inventory or strategic equipment plan. I'd smile every time I used it. To me, it'd be a user interface that delights. YMMV.

@Jason Stoddard are you going to go with sabre chips due to the fire on the AKM factory? or do you have enough stock of AKM chips for your DACs?

bigger issue might the be AK4113 digital input receiver chips (used on all DACs) .. but Jason and Alex are likely already on it.

@Jason Stoddard If the AKM parts become very very hard to find, but absolutely necessary, I know a rare components scalper specialist (but he may have retired by now)

{Schiit was somehow managing to adapt / survive and even thrive in 2020. SOMETHING big had to break}

Right. I was just curious how much capacity a schiit pot might have...

I've seen chamber pots that can accommodate about 6 quarts.

How do you determine if a Modi Multibit has the latest firmware?
.

The new firmware is said to be in newer Modi Multibits since mid-2018 so if you have gotten it after mid-2018 you most probably will already have the latest firmware

If you are still unsure, you will need to open up your Modi Multibit to see if there are any sticker on your firmware chip (old firmware has no sticker). Be advised that this may void your warranty

With everything that has happened this year, it's a shame you didn't have cameras following you around for a documentary.

Schiit'd be a great example to show how regulation affects business in the US and in high regulation states like California. People like me who are pro-regulation (I like clean things: air, water, armpits) and lean towards free trade could probably benefit from some perspective how such things affect businesses in the 21st century manufacturer's environment.

I'm sure Schiit and the businesses it trades with could add a great deal to my understanding of these issues, but if you won't cuss out the other side for being Nazi's or Commies no one else will listen.
