Ok so what’s going on with your dual tube situation there? I’m intrigued!

It's a pair of 2C22 7193 Westinghouse Black Plate tubes, and a socket converter. The tubes are basically single channel 6SN7's. Dual mono with the two. Great sounding tubes that are cheap. I found everything on eBay. Though, the socket converter comes from China and took about a month to arrive.

I wonder how you survive the first couple of months after you have bought a new car.
Hehe. Not easy let me tell you. Especially when you buy a black car that shows every minor scuff. Fortunately, one Canadian winter fixes all that as the road salt quickly cures any form of OCD lol. I’m not as bad as some dudes (it’s always dudes) that put away their cars in storage during the winter which means they effectively drive them for less than 6 months.
All joking aside, I do like to see manufacturers have a high standard when it comes to quality control of both the functional and cosmetic aspects of their products. Schiit has been very good with this.

Yeah, I'm waiting for my converter to come in now. The tubes are insanely cheap compared to some of the others...

Hmmm...I wonder if there's room for 4 of these on a Freya+...

It would be a bit crowded. Maybe get a couple of socket savers, and have them at staggered heights...? It'd look like telephone poles, or maybe a cactus...? :astonished:

Z (pronounced, zed  , not zee)

Perhaps up north where teeth chatter in the cold. Down here where it's warm, zee just rolls out so smoothly... But we understand what you mean, even when you use those funky metric things instead of grown-up units.
