In the spirit of "hey, we're all stuck at home and need Schitt to do", I've got a paperback copy of "Schiit Happened" that I'll be happy to donate to the first person who PMs me. Other than some dog-eared pages its in great shape. I'll even cover the cost of shipping to US addresses unless someone in Canada can convince me that the shipping difference isn't too bad.

Here's a peek with it hiding behind the very highly regarded Scotch mod.

Mods, if this violates TOS I'll take it down ASAP.

Dangit!!

Can I have the scotch? :)

The scotch is but a faint memory. If it helps, I will tell you that it was fantastic, even served over ice :tumbler_glass::tumbler_glass:

Did not have a scotch mod but I did have a Final Word - equal parts lemon juice, rye, chartreuse, and maraschino.

If one socket saver is good, more must be better. Right? :) :)

I was gunna call it the leaning tower of light, the light house for audiophools.
But I can't…

Because you're supposed to steer clear of beacons atop pedestals, so what good does it do to NOT be supposed to 'plug in and turn on'?
All the while that expensive precious beacon bulb is growing dimmer and dimmer and you can feel your wallet growing thinner and thinner…
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha aaaa hahahahhaaaa

Staring too intensely into the light will result in visions of mermaids and tentacles. Better tend to your other duties and leave the beacon for Willem Dafoe.

I know beta testers are getting new mats. Are we also getting new bearings with space grease, or some space grease we can apply ourselves? Anything else beta-testers can expect in the final package?
I will add to that. Will SCHIIT be sending beta testers the tonearm with the AT cartridge pre-installed?

Well, that doesn't help, but thanks anyway for trying. :) :)

LOL! Faux pas on my part -- that particular beacon is a Foton 6N3P, so I should have included the requisite adapter. But that would have made it too tall... :)
