I will have to think about Paladin79---I am not sure that he comprehends the concept of work------!!..
I could learn, if I have to, I guess.

Hey purple is suddenly a trend!!! There must be two or three people who requested it this far and the concept is starting to grow on me.

Well, purple does sound better so you're obviously on to something here. :relaxed:

I've been a fan of purple since the late 80's early 90's as a child playing Super Nintendo and watching TMNTs (Donatello was my favorite).

Plus, there is something very regal in a good dark purple! And even some brighter purples

IMG_1421.jpg I am leaning toward purple and silver, with XLR cables maybe another color. I like it with the cherry.

Purple works well in madras and paisley (would make a really cool cable sheath). Get out your bell bottoms and platform shoes and boogie on down.

Some nice transports at Audigon - https://www.audiogon.com/listings?category=digital-transports - some are a little pricey

I bought a Shanling PCD300B CD player and Headphone amp there 7 years ago. Originally for use with a Tweak City Gizmo Class D Amplifier, now it is an input into my Bifrost. The reason I bought it was that it had a remote to control the volume as the Gizmo did not have a very granular volume. Both Gizmos (home and work) have been gifted to my son-in-law and replaced with Bifrost / Lyr 3 at home and Magni / Mod at work

Donatello was my favorite too, even as far back as the infuriating TMNT NES game.

Oh I know those feels...I’m about to move along my collection of old school video games and on top of the pile is the original NES TMNT game with the evil electric underwater seaweed level lol

Man, that electric seaweed and trying to diffuse those underwater bombs...perhaps only once in all my times playing it as a kid did I get past that level...
