The only remarks are very carefull statements about showconditions etc, but it has been sitting at the Shiitr for a while right?

This is good news! I want something that sounds like Saga with LISST (or better), but is balanced, and does not have tube worries (one should not run Freya without tubes, but LISST tubes are not available anymore).

No thank you. I’d rather have a tube buffer than the solid state buffer, and I’m not keen on rolling 4 tubes. 2 is plenty. Also, the form factor (half size) is more to my liking.

A Loki Max preamp with remote would be very inticing. I have been considering buying another Loki to stick with my existing saga.

That reminds me of another controversial topic. How much do u think the potentiometer in vol control matter in sound quality? I seem to read a lot about that. Benchmark claims they have prob made the best pre amp vol control stripping from HPA4. But it costs 3000 bucks.

For what it's worth, my best experience with Magni 3 was with the volume turned to max to bypass the pot, and I controlled the volume with saga.
