Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

I like the UKs as well, but (like a woodworking cable builder here), I REALLY like the CV181T - II. And they also make the 6SN7SE (tennis ball) and the 6SN7 HIFI versions too. Nothing wrong with any of them, frankly.

Edit: aaaaaaannddd there’s another. Amplified parts has a PSvane 6SN7GT “classic line” tube for $25 and change. Who knew?
Add me to the CV181T-II list. One of only a few new production tubes that I like very much. Nice construction quality too.

Maybe a touch of overkill in the Vali 2, as if 1) there is such a thing, and 2) I would care , but also really nice in the Lyr 3 and Incubus..

I just watched Darko's video on Urd.

Why would anyone review Urd without trying it with a unison equipped Schiit DAC?

Yes, most of the viewer comments were painful to get through.

14 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

Yes, I am 150 years old. But, I don't yell at clouds. Well, not very often anyway...
Man, I hope that doesn't happen to me when I get to that age. 🤣

If he gets over that fire-bug stage.

Technically yes, but he does have a deal with the devil where his high school yearbook picture* ages while he does not physically age except for his hearing.

* @bcowen peaked in HS and has his aging yearbook pic hanging on the wall of his guest bathtoom. He tells everyone it is his great grandfather.

I took college entrance exams in 8th grade and placed out of high school. Ended up getting my Bachelor's degree before my driver's license. I thought you knew that. 🤣

A bit of an embellishment. 'Placed Out' and 'Denied due to 'Special Program' unavailability' ain't the same thing. 😏

But then again, if it was Appalachian State, I could see that happening. 😄

It certainly is nice in the Lyr 3 - I use it. Full bodied musicality at it”s finest - beating the Shuguang Black Treasure.

Likely an example of being held back in 8th grade for 6 years before finally saying enough is enough and helping him explore opportunities outside the school district. Sadly, no child left behind does not apply to adults in middle school. 😏

Dying! Went to Appalachian State on a band trip from VMI a long time ago, and then found out that Boone County was DRY. We were not amused…
