Hospital food is almost always surprisingly good. And you know, my unmarried wife is a great cook, for sure, but shut my mouth bad talking about hospital food. It wasn't bad at all!
Back in the day when I worked (and lived) at a hospital for ten months (Zivildienst, Germany's version of civil service in lieu of the otherwise mandatory (back then) military service) and got the same food patients get, I was told by that hospital's head chef why that is: Tasty, high-quality food keeps the staff and patients' spirits high(er) and it goes a long way in helping with patient recovery. It's a relatively cheap-ish way for a hospital to help their patients and improve overall morale.
So, much the same reason why they tend to serve pretty decent food in prisons, too.
Anyway, glad to hear you're back home. Have a speedy recovery!

In the spirit of reviving old ideas that went out of fashion I think Schiit should include a balance control on their EQ's.

What a nice render! That is pretty awesome. I would like a cassette player though.

You've got a good reason to lay around a bit with the headphones on. I'm sure your unmarried wife would understand. Hope you heal quickly.Just got home from hospital and despite some slow moving, I'm feeling better in some ways already. Probably would have developed spinal stenosis as a facter of genetics and age anyway. But when young in rock and folk/rock audio hauling speakers, amps and sound boards between home and gigs to gigs it'a wonder I have a back left at all. Been many years now in pain and now some relief is in sight! A month of rebuilding muscles coming up.
And you know, my unmarried wife is a great cook, for sure, but shut my mouth bad talking about hospital food. It wasn't bad at all!
And I don't know what the insurance co will really end up paying, but the estimates I saw for one night in, the surgery, the doctors and misc fees, could buy all Shiit sells as a package three to four times.
Health care. Hmmm
Thanks to all who wished me well. I do appreciate it!

Forgive me if I'm being ignorant, I just got back into the hobby, but what does it take to host a Schiitmeet? I could potentially do one for my local area.
