Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

My sub and amps are quite far from my preamp though. with long RCAs I'm always picking up noise somewhere, but have never had that problem with XLR.
For the short dac to HP amp, probably doesn't matter though. Except for the extra gain you can get from the balanced outs on a DAC. And the extra power you get running balanced into a pair of Vidars....

Thanks, now that's another use case where balanced has a practical usage

I wonder if RCA cables somehow can pick up noise more than balanced XLR cables

But some people think SET tube amps sound like crap, so there's that too
Not me, at least for headphones. Two EC Af on two different locations.

That 3.9 was a very nice engine when it ran, though. Ford eventually threw up their hands on my 2001 and bought it back from me. What did the XK8 have in it?
A gorgeous blue convertible!! The a red t-bird! Each had the same 3.9

Is a apple 10w PS ok?
Someone measured a bunch of those switching USB power supplies.
IIRC the Apple rated at/near in the top in terms of least noise.

Leonid & Friends - The Speck of Dust

This is a group from Moscow who have been recognized for their outstanding Chicago & Earth, Wind & Fire covers.

And there is a great example of how well recorded and produced music doesn't require Hi-Res. Even with the YT compression this still sounds amazing. Play it loud.

So here's a question…
Leonid & Friends did an Xmas live broadcast from Moscow with one of their 'front men' playing from Kiev along with them.

Anybody have an idea of how they accomplished this?
I have an idea but want to see if anybody else has an idea as well.

The advantage of balanced in a situation where noise is being picked up, is it is cancelled out - noise picked up one one signal conductor being cancelled by the other conductor being opposite polarity. Plain old telephone service (POTS) is balanced, the earth conductor being literally that.

The reservation is canceled on my credit card. Is it the same as canceled order?

If the order doesn't ship right away, it's normal for the charge to drop off after a few days. The charge will reappear when they get ready to ship.
