Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

The only place I want to hear a tube is in a Marshall guitar amp, with some great-sounding distortion

You have something against vintage Fenders? Or was that just an omission for brevity's sake? :) :)

I just put an offer to buy my first house... nervous and excited, and also figuring out how I want to set up audio in there if I do get it. More rooms, more possibilities...

Congrats!!!

But wait...envisioning and drawing up a fully laid-out plan for the audio setup is the *first* qualification for any home purchase. Price, neighborhood, square footage, # of rooms, pool, condition, fixer-upper needs.....all of that is secondary. :) :)

Just need a little paint and they're good to go!

Darn FedEx! My package wasn't picked up until four-and-a-half hours after it was ready! Then it sat for nearly five-and-a-half hours in Pacoima! Don't they understand this Schiit is important! Those are ten hours I'll never get back.

Bastards.

Re: Canada - I grew up living in the states, but played hockey and learned to swim in O Canada. These days I think the neighbor to the north could teach the neighbor to the south a few things about a few things, if the neighbor to the south cared to listen...

You're referring to Venezuela, right? :) :)

I'm ok with the website. Feel free to fix it after I load up on $0 products. Thanks.

That's the C- stuff. Still waiting on D stock. :)

Anybody else, even momentarily, read this as "a-hole"? No? Just me then...

Just you. :) But now that you mention it, totally apropos on the Schiit website. :)

I don't know any families that open more than a single present on Christmas Eve and most not even that. You can't open the presents before Santa comes....

Yeah. Exactly. :)

To me a stack is things on top of each other than are neat and organised. A pile/heap are things just thrown there casually without organisation that end up on top of each other.

A stack of books. A stack of DVDs.

Or

A heap/pile of dirty clothes. A heap/pile of leaves.

I can't say I am an expert but that is what makes sense to me as an English person born and bred.

Nice summary. As a visual aid, here is a pile and/or heap of tubes: :)

Gonna order a cap. I wish the cap and shirt had the company logo in addition to SCHIIT HAPPENS, but still nice to offer us schwag.

I was thinking of ordering a cap for all my folks on the shop floor. That way they can just point to the cap after they screw something up and not have to shout through their face mask. :) :)

@bcowen No, I have nothing at all against vintage Fenders. Great amps!
Marshall amps are just iconic in UK because of their special place in rock history and Jim Marshall's association with some of the greats of the rock world.
Their factory is also close to where I live.

How about a Schiit schwag version of this for the ladies?

That would be ultra cool! But instead of "Schiit Happens" that one would be better with "Schiit Stack". :) :)

A variation on this idea - just a photo of the Ragnarok on top of the Yggy with the wording "Stacked." strategically positioned right above. You could have a variant with the Modi/Magni and the Bifrost/Asgard to accommodate for all the, ahem, variations. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
