That's only because he has those other excellent singers like Roy Orbison to hide behind........:L3000:

His worst mistake in his life was when he mistook his mother's meaning when she said he could sing.

He thought her permission was a statement of ability.....

Did you ever notice that Tom Petty sounds like Bod Dylan, and Stevie Nicks sounds like Tom Petty, but Stevie Nicks sounds nothing like Bob Dylan?

Those that don't think Dylan can sing are like those who think Hallmark paintings of puppies are beautiful and impressionists just can't paint.

Listen to the Byrds Mr. Tambourineman and then Dylan's. The byrds have beautiful harmonies, 12 string guitar, it's lovely. But Dylan's has soul. BTW, Dylan wrote the song and gave it to Roger McGuin because he was embarassed about his voice.

    Says it all. :L3000:
The problem here is that all Dylan's fans still have not woken up to what Dylan had to face and acxknowledge.....

I must say in his defence, it takes a brave man to sing in front of an audience with a voice like his, even if the audience wants to hear it. Reality is like that.....:L3000:

Bob Dylan may not have the best singing voice, but it is a voice I sure like to listen to.
