Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Sad, I am moving after being in my house for 33 years. I just shut down my music system. Now it has to be boxed up for the trip from SF Bay are to Naples FL. Lots of Boxes: 5 Vidars, 2 Tyrs, Urd, Yiggy, Ragnarock, Loki max. Then 7 channel of Martin Logan and two Rytmic 18” subs. I maybe weeks without music.
Why the move? There are a ton of Schiitheads in Florida - you will not be alone. Safe travels.

Every time you post I can’t help but hear out loud what you wrote in the voice of Stimpy. Thank you. The detailed stills in that show is some of the greatest animation ever put on tv.
A nickname from long ago. I'm a big, happy-go-lucky kind of guy, who's always owned cats. So, a friend named me Stimpy. But, while he was a slim, hyper type, he never earned the name Ren. I never quite figured that out...? 😕

Well one does not have to use all the power an amp can produce of course.😉
More that I don't have a Sys in-line so the computer output is down about 20, and the audio whatever playing is down about 20 to keep the audio output reasonable. Not so much a watt issue as a dB gain issue.

In a word, bankrupt. Then resold to new owners some years later.
I still have a Shiva based subwoofer that I designed around that driver and a 300 watt plate amp that I modified from a 35hz EQ bump to a 20hz EQ bump that smoothed out the response in room. One day the heavy foam surround will fail I'm sure.

If it does there are replacement kits available, although it should outlast you. I have two Shivas in my living room HT. :)

I see that the "tube thieves" got to the lower shelves of your rack!
Lol! @Ripper2860 broke one of them, so no real need to put tubes in it until I fix it, which I promised to have done around a year ago. It's on my list, but hard to work in to my busy retirement schedule. 🤣

Well, yes, kinda like everything else. 🤣
If the fashion police are not coming after you for what you wear, then are you even adequately expressing your individuality?
