Excellent workmanship on the boarded up windows, reminds me of hurricane season in Florida without the water.🤪

** In the play Caligula by Albert Camus, Hélicon says: "Tu sais bien que je ne pense jamais. Je suis bien trop intelligent pour ça". [You know well that I never think. I am really too intelligent for that.] 🤷🏻‍♂️👍🥃
lol it is a little late in the day for me to discuss Camus but a great reference.🤪

Well now that you mention it, they would look better in tiger maple. Most generous of you to offer! I'll get you quantity and dimensions later this week. 🤣

But....but....but....there's the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. I was on the board of directors when I lived here previously. Probably mostly because my company donated a lot of money. Not exactly Radio City Music Hall, but then this is, well, Oklahoma. 🤣

Wait what? Nobody lives in Oklahoma twice. Nobody.

Sorry you remind me of a guy from NC I used to know, or was it Georgia? Unless you are part of a pair of triplets, tiger maple is usually for twins. 🤪
By the way I should be receiving olive wood soon and it could be impressive. If it works out I will try to make you something when time allows. A taco holder or some such.🤣
Maybe if I knew the main food choice of that region I could do better. Texas would be easier.🤪

I didn't think you knew any full stack web developers. Ones with carpentry skills, too!

I observed the discussion on twin triodes with 6VDC heaters. I therefore would be wise to stock up on RCA 6922 twin triodes, if the neutrality of sound is correct.

You had arms? I had to lick it off my rather prodigious nose with my rather prodigious tongue.
I’m unsure whether all this is one upmanship or one downmanship? Hmmm…

I really have to stop looking at ads...there's a Mjolnir 2 and Gungnir Multibit with Unison USB for sale. The seller started at CDN$1,600, then went to CDN$1,400 last week, and now they're at CDN$1,200 "O.B.O.". It's a 3 hour drive so no big deal. I believe the WAF here would be in the red/danger zone, but also YOLO!

Just did the conversion to USD, and I can see why that would be tempting.
Just more gear to add to your pile of Schiit! Granted who am I to judge as I will be at 8 pieces of Schiit at the beginning of 2025. :smirk:

I'll be sending in my Gungnir MB for the Unison USB upgrade soon, too. Man, that pair would complete my headphone stack. The obsessive/compulsive part of my brain is redlining.

Yeah, that would definitely be tempting, but "complete" is such a strong word. We all think that we have hit the end of the road for our setups at some point, but then the next piece of Schiit enters the fray.

That audio rabbit hole runs deep!

@ArmchairPhilosopher

Syn getting the Forkbeard treatment at some point?

Also, I had asked this a while back, will Schiit start to venture into the microphone interface space now that you have a software component? The software side doesn't have to be super involved: I have a Black Lion Studio Revolution 2x2 that has a very cut down selection interface in Windows that looks like a throwback to XP or 98.
