Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Now now you are from the same decade as me and transistors were invented before either of us were born, 1947. The first transistor radio was 1954 or so.🤪 I did have an all tube stereo in the mid 60’s as well as transistor radios. You were probably still figuring out which end of a spoon to use.🤣

Me sentiría mucho más cómodo si cambiaras el "yo" por "nosotros" en tus declaraciones.
It is true that the "we" feels more comfortable.
It is also true that Martin has said that he is not a corporate man and that his work history has been in an independent format.
Those of us who have worked corporately have in our DNA, when we make statements, to do so on behalf of the company and not in a personal capacity. But, ultimately, these are details that do not in any way tarnish the wonderful experience of closely and contemporaneously participating in this wonderful creation-evolution of Schiit.
In short: If you want, you can change the "I" for "we", if not, no. As long as you continue telling us about the wonderful work and creation experience that you are living.
Thank you!

You had spoons? Lucky. I remember my Dad yelling at me when I was 2 or 3 to be a man and use my fingers.

All this morning Tube talk is just making me more hyped for the Valhalla 3 release. I guess I will just imagine what you guys are hearing while I use my SS power amps for non speaker loads.

I will hear a Valhalla 3 at some point as well as a Stjarna. 😉 I tend to look forward to any of their new tube gear, the rest I own, have owned, or have heard.

Getting deeply into tubes and tube rolling can require some learning but the rewards are there IMHO.

My parents both worked at Ratheon in the 1950's with among other things Germanium resistors. Our first TV was a Stromberg-Carlson with the green malachite top. Killer Grundig 3090/56 tube radio too. Father bought a pair of Quad ESL-57's in 1966, along with a Phillipe Calatrava 3802 watch - all gone, like tears in rain....

Can't remember if its trash day, but I don't forget any of that stuff...

I done did it and ordered a Midgard this morning (with full spouse approval!). It will go into the reading room headphone stack, and the existing Asgard 3 will go downstairs into the Gungnir MB/Freya N speaker stack. I'll move the Lokius upstairs because I can use its balanced in/outs there. I'll move the Loki Mini + back downstairs as I really don't need much tone enhancement in that stack, though I will eventually replace it with another Lokius or Loki Max.

And, dear Schiit, in the name of all that is still good and worth fighting for in the Shire, please, please, find a better, modern something to replace the Captcha at checkout. That's so <waves hand vaguely to encompass the universe> 2000's.

I like the tears in the rain simile!! And thanks for reminding me today is trash day.🤪
I need to get going but first a Paul Simon lyric.

“ Time it was, and what a time it was, it was
A time of innocence, A time of confidences
Long ago, it must be, I have a photograph
Preserve your memories; They're all that's left you”
