I've seen some discussion of a Valhalla 3 possibly coming out by the end of the year. Does anyone know if it will be modular with the option of a dac card?

I am not a fan of four noval tubes, the more I listen, the more selective I tend to get.

If it's anything like the Folkvangr, it's going to be a hit

So, if Schiit ever made a streamer … what would it have to support / include?

Is this a pure streamer or a streamer with local storage?

The latter is pretty pointless, imo, what with NAS being bundled with various music serving software.

I'd like a streamer in a Magni-case to pair up with an MMB2. A Schiit Streaming Stack (Streaming Schiit Stack?) in that size would be great.

NAA/Diretta/Airplay2/DLNA endpoint minimum. RoonTested/RoonReady, oh, yes!

Sorry, but I want a streamer that does NOT require me to have a cell phone in my hand. When I listen to music, the LAST thing that I desire is for that stupid phone to be at my side. Turn it off!

I was hoping the Wiim Ultra would be this, with its touch screen and all, but sadly there is no capability to browse a local DLNA music share from the device, only through the Wiim app. Maybe with a future firmware update but yes, we're not there yet.

If a streamer that does this is out there, I'm all ears!

If you are going to serve coffee in the new Schiitr, it has to be on brand... I am thinking Kopi Luwak/ Civet coffee for obvious reasons !
