You may have given this advice as a joke, but it is very good advice!
I occasionally listen to jazz with Portuguese vocals and while I cannot understand a lick of what they're saying I appreciate the musicality of the vocals and what it adds to the music.

Nope, I was serious.

The “;p” thing was just the generally required “don’t rip my head off for saying something potentially oppositional on the internet” countermeasure.

Thank you for explaining that. I am poorly conversant in emoji

I sprung for one too, I'm giving it a try in just a bit. Long term French press user here, so we will see...

Let's post any mutual tips!
Be careful what you ask for, or @JamminVMI will post his 27-page manual and probably neglect to mention it takes him about 45 minutes to make a cup. 🤣🤣

Just buy a Chemex and get it over with. Although it is a pain in the butt to use, it produces the best coffee ever. I have had mine since 1970. :scream: :scream::scream:

You really can SING Marilyn Manson songs??
I think I listened to his one big hit for all of four seconds before moving on to actual music. Therefore I am not the right person to ask. 🤪🤪🤪

Yeah, the strangest case was a horse found in the 70s. It's spine was removed from the animal without any blood or any cuts or marks. It had in no way been bitten or operated on. No knife marks. Nothing. It looked perfectly fine. But one day alive and healthy. Next day dead with spine removed.
Yeti attack. I’m 100% certain.

You should try to listen to a few songs in languages you don't speak and you'll quickly understand how this works for, let's face it, pretty much most of the planet's population. ;p
Thinking of songs that became hits in the US, despite being not in English. Here's an old (1983) and a new(ish).

OMG - YouTube says Gangnum Style has 5.3 Billion views

Both songs became hits for their catchy tunes, but both also have meaningful lyrics. 99 Luftballons is a war protest song. Gangnum Style satirizes the rich lifestyle of the wealthy Gangnum District (the Beverly Hills of Seoul, Korea).

That discussion is already happening via DM and I am appreciative of his suggestions. :D
