Well, I recently sold my 2g nano, because I had thoughts of getting a 3g or classic iPod. Anyways, the recent threads about the new iPods have gotten me a little worried. Keep in mind that I do not listen to portables that much. I have about a half hour bus ride and listen to it in school every now and then through JVC Marshmallows or KSC75s.

I liked the nano, but I did not like having such a small HD. I was wondering if the Sansa e280 will be a good deal seeing as it is only around $130US. Also, I have every plan on rockboxing the e280.

Thanks,

The Sansa e280 is indeed a good deal, especially because it has an expansion slot if you do want more space.

If you did like your 2g nano, you can buy them refurb + 1yr warranty from apple $130 4GB, $170 8GB.

The new sansa view is also a great deal, the cheapest 16GB out there at $199, $149 for 8GB. The view has a MicroSD expansion slot.

Good choices, best values out there, as far as I'm aware.

But there's always ebay.

The sansa has great rockbox support. That makes this a no-brainer as far as im concerned.
