A fellow Head-fier asked if I would build him a pair of sandboxes for his monoblocks. I wanted try "prototype/practice" one. So this is what came out of a three day wekend and 90 lbs. of sand.

Should you build one of these put it in place before filling it with sand. It's a mutha to move. I filled it in the garage. Iwasn't sure if the sides would blow out.

Hope this is in the right forum. It is a tweak. Yes it does sound better. Honestly with my new Mullards and the sand , this is the best I think my sytstem has sounded.

Yup. It's also $300 for 17" x 14". But they also have an air cell. Hey my wife has a slab of marble in the garage.....
