There i found a test about the bundled samsung s8 akg in ear headphones. They rated these akg headphones with a 7,5 of 10 Points.

the testers Conclusion:

"Overall, these aren’t my favorite pair of earbuds. But considering these come “free” with the Galaxy S8 it’s hard to turn them down. Compared to other pairs of earbuds at this price point these fall in the middle-to-lower end of the pack for sure. But compared to the headphones that come with your smartphone these are fantastic. They’re way better than the Airpods that come with the iPhone and Google doesn’t even include headphones with the Pixel so Samsung wins by default. If you were going to spend $100 on a pair of earbuds these wouldn’t be my first choice (that honor goes to the 1More Triple Driver In-Ears), but if you’re getting or plan on getting a Galaxy S8, you’re also getting a really solid pair of ‘buds for “free”."

That's a decent review. I can't fault it. I don't have any extra comply tips, I need to order some, however I'm getting improved fit with just the tips from my KZ ZST.

I was hoping for more from these but I'm also not really surprised with what they did here. Samsung design with AKG badges.

Why do gsm arena say the s8 plus audio is amazing and pretty much the best around.when the rmma results clearly show its sucks compared to other phones?i swear all gsm area cares about is how loud it goes.if the phone is loud as hell but crap rmma they still love it and say best sq in its class.i really dont have high hopes for the note 8 sq either :frowning2:.i think im going back to nokia soon as they always had the best sq on phones in the past.nokia n91, Nokia 808,nokia n81,n97 mini etc etc etc

The video above clearly shows it's not loud at all, it just louder by a hair than the S7 was, which was pathetic.but normal for cellphone standards.

I don't believe the US S8 won't be something that audiophiles will be interested in.  The whole point of having a mobile phone with good audio is to avoid carrying around a stack.  I ended up with the ZTE Axon 7 and am quite satisfied with the dac quality and output volume not to mention the 2 front firing speakers.  BTW, I will never buy a carrier owned phone after my experience with the Axon.  It was a factory unlocked phone and did not contain any carrier bloatware programs.  The phone runs very smooth and takes a minimalist approach on what software it comes with..

I really wanted that phone before the V20 came out, but it lacked certain radios of Tmo's bands, and it's reception was weaker than average even on Wi-Fi, not just cell. So I didn't take a chance. yes it's a very good looking phone and the price was very tempting.

Well a couple just arrived and both look stunning but prefering the grey as will show less marks/scratches. Going to test with my SE846's and compare to my S7 and Fiio X5III.

I did watch a YouTube video that said the snapdragon version had APTX HD. Have you got the Exynos model?

It only has Aptx, not the HD version

These are the currently confirmed Aptx HD phones:

Initial impression after 30 minutes.

No background hiss with my sensitive SE846's same as with S7 and the Amp is more powerful. Can just bare max volume with SE846/S7 but only upto 75% with the S8. Normal listening volume for me with S8 ~ 45%.

Intitial listening with Spotify extreme tracks comparing S7 - S8 - X5III.

Makes the S7 sound so flat and lacking life. Sound quality of S8 nearer X5III than the S7. More listening to do with high def but this is sounding excellent on initial feelings.

Didn't Samsung say that was something that could be fixed by calibrating the screen?
