Would the CrossRoads MylarOne X3 produce pretty good sound in a samsung k3. I know they don't draw a lot of power, I just want to make sure I am not bottlenecking good sound quality with that MP3 Player. I ordered the player and have heard nothing but good things about the CrossRoads MylarOne X3 on various forums and might get them.

Here i saw Max. Input Power : 10mW
On the samsung k3 manual, it says Earphone Output:20mW(16Ω)

Is that ok that it is 10 over?

I really hope I don't need some amp of any kind. I want kinda want to keep it at the $57 price of the Mylars alone. Will it be ok without an amp?

One other thing. My sound quality expensive is as follow. I went from a $7 headset to a pair of $50 PC150 Sennheiser and the difference was amazing. Right now I use a pair of Sony $9 earbuds i got from walmart in my CD player. When I get this MP3 in (it is on its way) and if I get those MylarOne X3s, will I be blown away compaired to the sony's I am used to?

I can answer the Sony question. Yes. They are much better than the cheap Sony's which should even cost that much in the first place :p.

You will be fine for using K3 and X3.

The earphone output for K3 is listed as maximum output (on maximum volume), which if you are using X3 with K3, you won't need to turn the volume over half of what K3 can do.

[EDIT] X3 doesn't require amping.
