Has anyone auditioned this unit? It seems not to be offered here in the U.S.

Or is it just a new model that'll eventually make it here?

I am quite certain this player isn't in US Sony's lineup. It does resemble the Sony 3100ES, which is the entry-level DVD/SACD/CD player in Sony's ES line. MSRP is US$500.00.
